She started in commercial and then switched to residential in 1992. Linda has had a lot of experience including many different jobs in the business. She’s been a Processor, Loan Officer Assistant, Branch Manager, Owner, CFO and a Loan Originator. Her journey was backwards compared to most, starting as the owner of a small brokerage. This experience has taught her the ins and outs of every step of the business. Apart from the mortgage industry, Linda received her private pilot’s license in 1984, and graduated from the LeCordon Blue Culinary Academy with honors in 2002. What she finds most rewarding: “I enjoy teaching my borrowers about interest and money, providing them tools to save and pay off their mortgage in six to ten years. I do this by repositioning their cash flow. If we all owned homes free and clear and did not treat them like an ATM machine, would anyone be concerned with the value?” What impresses her about First Cal: “What impressed me about First Cal is the people, they really care. Integrity is very important to business, and I have complete faith in the ethics and honesty of everyone I have met at this company.” On First Cal’s capabilities: “First Cal allows me the ability to provide service and support to my clients and realtor partners with the attention that they deserve. This could only be done with the great team I have behind me.” On helping her clients be successful: “Both the realtor and buyer are my clients. To help their success I want to make sure that the buyer is fully qualified prior to getting in the realtor’s car and going shopping.” Who has inspired her: “I am inspired by my children; they keep me young, focused and give me a purpose! I also admire the writings of Napoleon Hill and Andrew Carnagie. Their knowledge of business is timeless.” On her priorities: “My highest priority after my family is the close of escrow date on a purchase contract.” How she has fun: “I love to cook for my family and friends, go hiking and to ride my quad in the Arizona desert. I also enjoy traveling to new places.” |
